Ashley's love of movement began in South Texas where she was a ballerina for 16 years. Then after heading off to college, fell in love with aerobics classes. After marrying her husband, Chris, she began teaching freestyle exercise classes as a hobby. This led to her first Les Mills certification in Bodypump, Followed by Bodyattack, Bodyjam, and BODYFLOW. It was her role as a US trainer and presenter for BODYATTACK where A passion for connection and taking people to places they couldn't get to on their own was found and cultivated. After injury took her out of high impact instruction, a deep love for yoga was found. She became a Certified Baptiste yoga instructor. It is through that journey that an understanding of presence in your life and taking charge of your own reality was formed. She currently teaches yoga at Pine street drug and alcohol rehabilitation center through Indigo yoga's outreach work. This work led her to becoming a Life and Wellness Coach. Equipped with a holistic health coach certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she now helps guide people to finding not only better food choices, but life choices to help lay the foundation to healthier living. She is happy to have found OTF and believes it to be the most efficient workout she's done in her over 20 years of exercise experience. In the words of Zig Ziglar, "people can go further than they think they can, because someone else thinks they can"...she truly feels that to be a big part of her life's mission.
